TEAM WORK - A MATTER OF "TRUST"

Postby l3forum on Wed Feb 11, 2009 2:50 pm

Operators/Coordinators/Producers/Directors: Hey, does each of you “trust” the skills, judgment & sincerity of the person sitting next to you? In front of/behind you? The more you do, the better our shows will be—or so I’m told. What’s been your experience? Discuss.

It's absolutely true that a successful production comes with each individual's inherent trust that everyone else will do their jobs well. I find that some people trust more easily than others. And it makes a bit of sense to have to prove yourself to an associate early in the day, but this needs to be accomplished before the show hits air or things will be out of sync. Trust does not need to be earned; However, it can be easily destroyed by a weak performance... Trust me!
